Exmo Hotel by Olivia

The room’s city view was one of the best parts of my stay, and the team made me feel welcome throughout. The hotel is stylish, cozy, clean, and in a handy spot for walking around Porto, especially Ribeira and the riverfront. A couple of small things could’ve been better. The bathroom faucet handle was loose, though it still worked. I visited in February, when there was no A/C. They offered a fan or suggested opening the windows, but street noise made that less than ideal. Still, the view and friendly service made for a very pleasant stay.

We’d absolutely choose Exmo again next time we’re in Porto. The team made our trip memorable, and the included breakfast was a nice start to each day. We also appreciated the warm welcome and the recommendations they gave us. Our river-view room came with a lovely note. We paid 35 euros for an airport ride, which was convenient with our luggage. The clean Mercedes had bottled water waiting inside. There were a few room issues: the shower showed some wear, the sink faucet was too long for washing my face comfortably, and the bathroom’s natural vent didn’t draw air out, so bathroom smells lingered in the room. Even so, we had a wonderful stay. Thanks to everyone at Exmo. Hope to visit again soon ♥️

Breakfast felt thoughtful and had plenty to choose from, including yogurt, cheeses, fruit, pastries, bread, açai juice, and made-to-order bacon and eggs. The scrambled eggs were delicious. I liked that it wasn’t an over-the-top spread. The food and clean setup made it feel like the staff cared about the details. The room was clean and well furnished, with a city view. I loved opening the window with a cup of hot tea and watching the busy street. The bed was huge, high, and comfortable, and its thick, soft pillows supported my neck. Heated bathroom tiles were especially nice in the cold weather. There were cute Christmas decorations during my early December stay. The hotel is cozy and well placed by the Douro. You can watch the sunset and reach the riverside restaurants and bars in under two minutes. The staff were so friendly and made me feel at home. I’d pick this hotel again if I return to Porto.

We spent about four days at the EXMO. and found it easy to walk to lots of places around Porto. Check-in was smooth, the staff were really kind and helpful, and our room was amazing and super clean. The food was prepared wonderfully too. My wife and I would recommend staying here.
