J3M Houses

For €80 a night, I ended up with a suite facing what looked like a garbage pile on the terrace of the privately owned end unit opposite, across a small path from the J3M Houses row. That unit isn’t owned by the J3M property, and there was no way to enjoy my own terrace; the view made the place feel dirty. I arrived in Porto after a day of travel and hadn’t realized that one end suite was separate from J3M. When I asked to move, I was told I couldn’t. I said I’d stay one night and find another place for the next two, and was told to leave because she doesn’t rent for one night. The owner must know about this issue, I’d think. She did refund my money, but only before sending me out onto the street to find somewhere to stay that night. Be warned, you don’t know where you’ll end up.

Isabel took such good care of us, stayed attentive and available, and introduced us to her unique world. We made some wonderful discoveries. Thanks again!

We were a couple and felt very comfortable in the apartment. It had everything we needed and was centrally located. And Isabel, the host, was fantastic.

The first night was incredibly hot 🥵🌡️, and we could hear a party across the street, despite being told it would be quiet.
