The customer service showed no empathy or accountability after I reported a huge cockroach in the bedroom with a photo. I had to leave the apartment in the middle of the night, but they refused a refund or any compensation. All I got were copy-paste apologies and indifference. When I arrived at the Limehome property in Porto, I found a cockroach over 6 cm long crawling in the room where I was supposed to sleep. It was revolting and deeply disappointing, one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had. This place seems poorly maintained, and Limehome appears to care more about money than guests’ safety or comfort. Avoid it. It’s a disgrace for a brand that claims to be professional.

The internet and beds were great, and there’s a lovely garden full of plants where you can work or relax. The apartments are new, nicely done, and very well located in a charming old style house. The kitchen is fully equipped. We really enjoyed it.

We loved having a terrace and watching the peacocks in the park next door. The room was lovely, with a great kitchen and bathroom, really all you need. It’s on a fairly busy road, though, so it could be a bit noisy at times.

They cancelled my booking the day before I was due to travel because they’d overbooked. I had to call to find out what had happened, since they didn’t contact me by email or even apologize. Very unprofessional. I’ve seen others report the same issue, so don’t book if you don’t want a last minute cancellation while prices nearby shoot up.
