I arrived after the official check-in time because of a travel delay, and the host offered no flexibility. I had to find somewhere else for the night. When I tried to check in the next day, he refused and called it a “no-show,” then kept all my money without providing any service. Afterward, I looked at the reviews and found many others describing the same experience. The host doesn’t try to help, but uses the situation to cancel the stay and keep the full amount. I also saw multiple negative reviews on Google Maps for all his properties that appear to describe the same pattern. Be careful: you could end up without accommodation or a refund. I advise against booking with ML Apartments. If anything runs late, you may lose both your money and your place to stay. There’s no customer service, flexibility, or fairness.

We didn’t need public transport during our Porto vacation, except for the airport. The apartment is central, within walking distance of several restaurants and major attractions. It’s a new place, with a living room and kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. The host was extremely kind.

The apartment was clean and well located, but the equipment was very basic, poor quality, and in places defective. That included the chairs, kitchen accessories, and vacuum cleaner. Some baseboards were coming loose, and there was a hole in the wall. The advertised space was smaller than it actually is. We’ve just returned from a week there and couldn’t leave a review on the booking site we used. ML Apartment may be trying to avoid reviews. I don’t recommend this rental, and I’m sorry the host’s attitude stopped us from rating the property. Beware.

The metro and Bolhão market are right next door, so the location is very central. The rooms were spacious, though a little dusty from the neighborhood. There were lots of nearby places to get a good breakfast. No towels had been provided, but they brought them to us right away.
