The location made it easy to get to restaurants, vintage shops, and places to stroll, all about a 10-minute walk away. Right on the hotel's street, we found a record and book shop, an illustration gallery and shop, a Brilliant wine bar with delicious food, and its sister pizza place. We sometimes felt bad about not going farther for dinner. We stayed during some stormy weather. It wasn't very cold outside, but the hotel was warm and toasty, which we appreciated. Our room was just as described, and the stylish lounge downstairs felt like a cozy living room. I'd never wanted to hang out in an accommodation foyer before. The furniture was great, and breakfast was an absolute delight. On our last day, our host had made a cake for no apparent reason, and it was delicious. You can really feel the human touch here. Such a wonderful place, and I've already been recommending it to friends planning a Porto visit. 10/10, would recommend!

The garden feels like a peaceful little escape from the city's buzz, and the BNB is thoughtfully decorated. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and quite large by European standards. Breakfast was excellent too. We highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed!

I spent four days here with my team for a theatre show, and it was a really nice experience. Everything felt just right, from the setting and service to the staff, who were always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious too. Thank you all so much 🙏🙏🙏

The location is ideal, close to the sights but away from the noise and crowds. There are excellent restaurants and art galleries nearby, too. Starting the day with a delicious fresh breakfast in the garden was lovely. This place isn't modern, and you do have to take the stairs to your room, but the people who work here are full of joy and help you find the best Porto has to offer. I first felt I had found somewhere special when I emailed to ask about availability. Opening the room door confirmed it. Pensão Favorita is a magical little place. I'm almost worried about sharing this review in case it won't be a secret and we can't get a room next time we visit Porto :)

The main thing to know is that rooms 5, 6, and 7 involve a four-story climb. That's pretty brutal with heavy bags or after walking around the city all day. Otherwise, this place is excellent. Pensão Favorita is a stylish, comfortable B&B with thoughtful design, a delicious breakfast, and staff who are super accommodating. The garden is a lovely place to relax and a huge bonus. It's tucked into a residential neighborhood just outside the busy tourist areas, but still an easy walk from everything.
