The all-white floors and walls made it feel like a clean, modern place for our first-ever visit to PORTO. It was centrally located, and comfortable enough that we invited a Vietnamese friend over one night for Vietnamese shrimp and catfish curry with lemongrass. Finding cilantro and lemongrass in PORTO wasn’t easy, until I found a Chinese grocery store! Pedro, our AirbnB host, was friendly and kind.

The rooms are tidy, though they can get a little warm in summer. The metro is close by, and getting to the airport is easy.

We had a lovely, well-equipped apartment that was clean and looked great. Rue Caterina has plenty of shops, but the apartment was still quiet. It’s a great base if you want to explore Porto on foot, with the main sights all within a mile and a half.

The owner was so friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed to make the stay go well. The place itself was clean and welcoming, right in central Porto. I’d recommend it without hesitation.
