The woman who worked there was extremely polite and friendly to my husband and me during our five-day stay. Bus and metro connections were very good, so getting to the center of Porto was easy. Our room was a bit small, but we only used it for sleeping. If all you need is somewhere to sleep and relax, it’s a comfortable place. If you want a bigger room, a kitchen, or somewhere to do more, you’re better off looking elsewhere.

It’s a cozy little family-run hotel, though it’s a bit inconvenient having to ring the bell every time you come back since they don’t give you a key to the main door. There’s a lovely breakfast spot nearby, where coffee or tea and fresh pastry for two cost 3.50€.

The check-in and treatment were the most unfriendly I’ve ever experienced. The place was clean and had free WiFi, but the woman checking people in was downright aggressive. Not a good experience.
