The owners were wonderful, and this is a lovely little hotel with good rooms.

Check-in was easy to do ourselves, and the hosts were responsive. The room was clean and comfortable in a nice area. The shower door didn’t shut all the way, so water got all over the floor. The bathroom also stayed humid because the ventilation fan didn’t seem to do much.

The staff were very helpful, quick to respond and easy to reach. In Building 181, apartment 6, we found a spotless place with an exquisitely decorated, fully equipped kitchen. The noise cost it a star: the apartment sits under the building’s main entrance, so we heard every footstep as guests came and went, the entrance door closing and cleaning being done.

The kitchen was well equipped and came in handy, saving us from eating out for a few meals. The owner also took the time to point out the best places to visit in Porto. Since the place is central, we could do most of our sightseeing on foot, and the nearest Metro station was just a few minutes away. We had a wonderful stay.

The room was clean and pleasant, with what we needed for a short stay in Porto. It’s a bit of a climb to reach the attractions, around a 10-20 minute walk uphill, but we still thought the stay was worth it. Street parking by the apartment is free if you can find a spot.
