The manager was friendly and attentive, but it seems a good camera and a computer program can work wonders. The room's lack of cleanliness was disappointing. It was neglected and unhygienic, with very worn materials, cobwebs, and dust on the AC when it was switched on. It fell well short of what had been advertised. I wouldn't stay again.

The owner was kind and attentive, and the champagne was good. Still, we were the only guests, which felt a little odd, and there was no breakfast offered. In the room, I found cobwebs, cold water, dim lighting, and too few bath towels. The water-saving setup went too far: the shower had so little pressure I couldn't rinse the shampoo from my hair. The stay fell short of expectations.

José, the owner, was warm and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were very grateful for the hospitality. Our classic room was spacious and had a whirlpool tub. The place is midway between Lisbon and the beaches of Setúbal, and I'd highly recommend it.
