There’s private parking for cars, and the pool has warm water, sun loungers and some shady spots, though it’s a bit small. The hotel is just outside town but still close to the village. Breakfast was good, and the rooms were very clean with good storage. There was no fridge, though, and in this summer heat a cold bottle of water in the room would have been nice.

There’s plenty of private parking for the number of hotel guests, and the dogs on the property are gentle and friendly. The place is quiet, a little outside the village, and good for relaxing and resting. We were very warmly received, and the service was attentive and friendly. It was a quick visit, but a really pleasant one. I recommend it.

I want to share my experience, which unfortunately was negative. My family and I couldn't make use of our stay because a road was closed to traffic from midnight until 6 a.m. for a night triathlon event. The municipal council had notified everyone in Reguengos a month beforehand. I had to drive more than 60 km to get home because I had nowhere to stay, and I did inform the owner of the establishment about what had happened. The next day I went to return the key and was treated rudely for trying to sort out my situation. The owner said he knew nothing about the event or the road closure and essentially dismissed any possibility of a refund because I still had the room key. In effect, he expected me, five months pregnant, to wait in the car with my one-year-old baby until 6 a.m. so I could return that key. I paid €120 for 20 minutes in the room. I paid in advance because I'm an honest person and expected a service that was at least worth the money. That didn't happen. So much dishonesty for such a small place. P.S. I won't respond to other people's comments. The complaint is already being handled by professionals, I hope.
