The view was incredible, and the room was spotless. Staff were always friendly and available, too. We loved our stay. It was so peaceful and pretty, and the pool, tennis court, and small gym made it even better. A few lovely days of rest. I’d recommend it and hope to come back!

Such a peaceful, family-friendly place, perfect for getting away from the everyday rush. I loved everything! The staff were incredibly kind. Liliana welcomed us and showed us around the property; she isn’t the owner of the Quinta, but the way she guided us showed how much she cares about it. Sara and Sr. José were also lovely and always ready to help. Thanks for making us feel at home and for your hospitality. 100% recommended.

The house itself is beautiful, with excellent bedding, a very nice bathroom, and good soundproofing. But the suite with the terrace jacuzzi has no privacy. It’s right by the parking lot, and the air conditioning unit sits beside the suite entrance. You can hear it from the terrace, which is really unpleasant. The pool area also fell short: the lawn is artificial, there aren’t enough sun loungers, and there’s only one parasol. The steep stone steps make access difficult for people with reduced mobility. Breakfast is very basic. At €200 a night, I expected freshly squeezed juice and local products. We got a good welcome, but it was brief, and there were no services available during the day. The location isn’t the best in the Douro Valley; you can find better elsewhere.

After a four-hour trip from Lisboa to Resende, we arrived to find that our reservation had been cancelled without warning because they wouldn't accept a 22:00 check-in. The service was awful. I don't recommend it.
