After 13 nights, leaving Surf & Guest Lorena’s House felt like saying goodbye to family, and I'd return anytime. Lorena and Fernando made us feel comfortable from the start. They were welcoming, charming, loving, friendly, and accommodating. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a large balcony. The common area and kitchen were bright, spacious, clean, and well equipped for breakfast, coffee, or even a meal. There was plenty of outdoor space to relax on the balconies or patio and enjoy the garden. The house is in a great spot in Ribeira Grande, in the middle of the island, and the beach is just a few minutes' walk away.

Lorena was so kind and friendly. She even returned my daughter's favorite stuffed animal after we accidentally left it behind. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and we had an excellent stay. Thank you so much, Lorena. Excellent hosts!

The owners were very kind, though we're not used to sharing a home and personally felt a little like intruders. The house is clean and there are enough towels. Guests can make breakfast in the kitchen and use a guest fridge, but aren't allowed to prepare a large dinner. Our bedroom wifi was so weak that we hardly had a connection. The location is perfect and the balcony is great. Still, I wouldn't really call it a surf house, since there are no board racks or other surf-related facilities. There are a few guest rooms, and the owners live in the house themselves.

Everything was really clean, and Lorena and Fernando were wonderful hosts. Since they're locals, they shared tips about the island we never would have found out on our own. Thank you, we felt at home.

There's plenty of parking right by the entrance, and the home is elegant, refined, and furnished with great taste. Lorena and Fernando are a very warm and welcoming couple. We had a really positive experience and highly recommend Surf & Guest Lorena's House. If we come back, this will definitely be our choice again. Guaranteed! Alessia and Stefano
