Those breakfasts were a highlight, Mrs. Maria made something different each morning, and you could tell it was prepared with love. We also had such warm encounters with her. The house is built from lava stone in the traditional Azorean style, and it felt like home: cozy, spotless, and well staffed. There's a fully equipped barbecue area, too. A lovely place to stay if you enjoy being close to nature.

The owner was so helpful and made sure we could get the most out of our time on the island. The villa itself is spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well equipped. With the island being so beautiful, staying here made the trip feel perfect. We'll definitely come back!

There was no Wi-Fi, and the shower was broken. I couldn't get hold of anyone to help.

The ocean and hills look amazing from here, and you can even see Pico's summit. There's private parking, and I'd say a car is best for visiting Pico Island. Inside, there's a large bedroom, living room, spacious bathroom, equipped kitchen, and a patio where you can sit and take in the view. The TV had a few minor problems, and the closet space was definitely inadequate.
