A first-class spot, and very comfortable.

Fátima was so friendly, and the place was incredibly comfortable with all the amenities, even for our group of 6. Amazing!

The place is mediocre, just as the photos suggest, and there's a putrid smell coming from the bathroom. It's so unbearable that showering or using the toilet makes you gag. The manager of "No for Yes Pico" treats tourists like cash cows, and I found her dishonest. We were charged an exorbitant price to rent a wrecked car with no windshield, which I believe was a scam arranged with the owner's friends. When we returned it, they charged us eccentric penalties. They also made us pay an extra €10 per day for a baby who had neither a high chair nor a crib. Then, after we got home from our stay, I was surprised to learn she was demanding still more money for eccentric and, above all, abnormal things. They have no respect for tourists, only for their wallets, and I felt they were deceiving their victims. The person running the place also seemed to have no business sense. Pico itself is wonderful and worth visiting. For accommodation, I'd recommend Madalena, which is ideally located and better equipped. Don't waste your savings and energy financing this establishment. If you don't know how to run a hotel, you shouldn't market it as one. This isn't a proper establishment. It's an amateur operation, and the person running it would be better off getting proper hospitality training.
