There isn’t any nearby commerce, so don’t count on shops around the property, though the coast is close enough for a family beach trip. For the price range, this is the best place for kids I’ve tried in Portugal. The luxury resorts I’ve seen cost several times more, while all-inclusive hotels can feel too crowded. Here, there are two pools, loads for children to do, plus a huge tree house and sand, all close by. The kids can explore on their own while still being within reach. My three, aged 5 to 8, have rarely been so happily occupied, and I could read without interruption. The apartments have separate bedrooms for parents and kids, and the kitchen has enough equipment for light meals.

We were two adults with children aged 1 and 3, and really appreciated how the property sits among nature, a little tucked away, with activities nearby. The restaurant on site meant we could have dinner together while the kids slept. The staff were thoughtful and friendly, and communication was already great while booking. When we wanted to stay longer but our apartment wasn’t available, they found us another one for the remaining two nights. They also reached out ahead of time to arrange dinner for our first evening. Families will find child-friendly pools, a huge garden with a playground, and plenty of other families for the kids to meet. Breakfast was generous, with fresh juice each morning. There are lots of beautiful beaches in the area.

The whole family had a great time here. It’s peaceful and quiet, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were super friendly. There are lots of games and activities for children too.

Look up at the stars at night and you’ll see why the location feels magical. It’s a lovely place for a break, some relaxation, or time with friends. The facilities are excellent, and the owners and staff treat you so well that you feel at home. I can’t recommend it enough.
