That garden and its mountain views made breakfast especially lovely, and the owner was consistently attentive and friendly. The price, location, and amenities were all great. There’s a capsule coffee maker with capsules, plus a microwave/grill, kettle, gas stove, and all the kitchen things you need. It can sleep up to 7, so it works for a family with kids, a couple, or a group of friends. We brought our chihuahua and would choose this place again if we come back.

Set in the heart of the Seven Volcanoes, this rental is perfectly placed for lovely walks. The house has what you need for a comfortable stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa do Vale, a spacious rural home right in the centre of the Sete Cidades parish. It had everything we needed, and we especially loved the outdoor area at the back, with a covered porch for meals beside the garden. A great spot for going hiking.
