Quinta do Rabaçal

The outdoor gym deserves a special mention: squat racks, room for deadlifts, lots of weight plates, a pull-up bar, parallel bars and more, all outside. The huge property is well maintained and has lots to do, including kayaks, a sauna, jacuzzi and karaoke, plus plenty of room for walks. We spent three days here with friends over the New Year holidays, and it was a wonderful place. The host was very pleasant, quick to reply and always ready to help. If you’re driving, make sure to enter the property via Rua Do Gravito in Vila Do Mato.

Peter was such a good host, always close by when we needed help. He even put on a little party for us in his club, which made the New Year holiday the best. We came to Quinta in winter, and now I can imagine how lovely it must be in summer. It’s a warm, cozy place to stay, with lots to do: walk around the huge grounds, book the sauna and jacuzzi, use the pool in summer, play table tennis, relax by the river or visit the gym. I’d definitely recommend it!

A great spot for a few days of switching off and relaxing. The owners are very thoughtful, and the river nearby makes for an amazing setting. There are lots of activities, plus plenty of trails to explore.

We spent five days at Quinta do Rabaçal for a yoga and fitness retreat, and had an amazing time. The place is peaceful and beautiful, with a pool and a spot right by the river. Paddleboarding and swimming in the river were highlights for me! At breakfast this morning, we really didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back next year!
