After a very long day walking the Camino to Santiago, I was exhausted, and the check-in staff were so welcoming and helpful. My room was huge, elegant, and comfortable. With the beautiful staircase and decor, it felt like living in a villa. This was my second stay here, and I still love it. I enjoyed breakfast and the elegant restaurant. The room's air conditioning didn't cool it down, and I couldn't open the windows. Management said that was because of the time of year.

The staff were amazing, and the rooms were wonderful. It's perfectly placed for exploring much of Viana do Castelo on foot. Don't miss the bar, either, with its great local beers and wines.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, courteous, and accommodating, and the hotel is right in the town center, with easy access to all the sites of Viana. It's a 500 year old manor house, completely restored with careful attention to the period details. Breakfast was one of my favorites: plenty of protein options, yogurt, pastries, and fresh fruit, plus very good coffee.

Our spacious, comfortable, and clean bedroom came with a free upgrade to a suite at check-in. Not sure why, but it was a nice surprise. We had a very pleasant one night stay, with friendly, courteous staff. Dinner in the tapas bar was good, and the craft beers were excellent. We both went for IPAs. The next morning I was feeling unwell when we checked out, and the reception staff were especially kind. They let me rest in the library until it was time for our bus. Highly recommend!
