Casa do Lagar

The view from the house is hard to forget, and there’s a big living room, kitchen, and terrace. The host is lovely. The pool is cold and shaded, so I wouldn’t choose the place for that. The amenities feel worn and dated, and it’s completely inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues. It’s not very child-friendly either. Best suited to fit adults who don’t plan to cook much, since the kitchen lacks basics like salt and oil, or do laundry, as there’s no washing machine.

We felt at home from the moment we arrived at Casa do Lagar, thanks to such a warm welcome. The place is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and has a lovely energy. Everything seems carefully considered and the facilities were spotless. A great spot to slow down and enjoy the time. We’re already hoping to come back!

We’ve stayed at casa do lagar twice now, and liked it even more the second time. The scenery is breathtaking, and D.Anabela and Sr.Antonio are so warm, generous, and always there when needed. They really know how to make guests feel cared for. The house is wonderful, with modern decor, spacious rooms, and everything we needed. We had a lovely few days and are already planning to return. Thank you so much for all the kindness. I highly recommend it.

For peace and nature, casa do lagar is a lovely find. The view is beautiful, the house was clean, warm, and really comfortable, and the mattresses were especially good. Thank you, dona Anabela and your husband. Maybe next time the weather will be better.
