The reception team were especially kind and courteous, and the housekeeping and breakfast staff were just as welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it’s good value for money. You’re close to the city centre and the main roads. The hotel is dated, both in its furniture and facilities, but it’s extremely well kept and almost spotless. That gives it a charm and character many newer, more anonymous hotels lack.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d happily stay again if I needed to. It’s cheap, basic accommodation that’s perfectly acceptable, with off-road parking and a convenient spot near the town centre.

We had a really enjoyable night at Hotel Bela Vista. It was very clean, the service was friendly, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel that won’t break the bank. We’ll definitely return when we visit Viseu again.

It’s a practical hotel in an old building, so don’t expect a modern shine. There’s no real decoration, but the room had everything I needed, including a private toilet. Breakfast was simple but enough, and the hotel isn’t far from the old city centre.

Small hotel, and about what you’d expect for a two-star rating. The rooms are a bit cramped, with an old TV and bathroom. Hot water is limited, and some door hinges and handles can be hard to use.
