The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean, which is why I wanted to leave a positive review. But the way check-in staff handled a false accusation from housekeeping changed that. On my first night, I was accused of smoking in my room because I’d left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door all day. Later, the front desk told me housekeeping had reported a smell of smoke. That was completely untrue. I don’t smoke in rooms, and never would. I invited staff to come upstairs and check for themselves. Once we were inside, there was clearly no smell. Even so, being accused like that was extremely upsetting. I’ve traveled widely, from Tokyo, Indonesia, Thailand & Philippines to Kenia and many countries in Europe, and have lived on three continents over the past ten years. I’ve never felt so unfairly treated at a hotel. The situation was handled poorly and without professionalism, showing a serious lack of competence in management. It’s a shame, because the hotel has potential. They should have waited until they could enter the room and check for any smell. After this experience, I can’t recommend staying here, especially with so many better hotels in town.

The breakfast is generous and nicely served on trays, with eggs, ham, cheese, bread, fresh juices, and more. The location is great, and the staff are welcoming and professional. It feels like being away from earth in a completely different atmosphere, and would suit a couple or a business stay. The only thing to improve is the noise: you can hear people in the corridors from the rooms.

Hotel Factoria has a distinctive, enchanting feel, mixing bohemian charm with its own style. It’s in a converted old factory that still feels authentic, and the atmosphere brought Hogwarts from Harry Potter to mind. A memorable, one-of-a-kind place to stay.

I’ve stayed here 3-4 times and enjoyed it every time. It feels like staying in a big house, with huge, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff who provide great service. The garden is lush and peaceful. There’s also a cozy library where I can meet friends and relatives, and for a bigger gathering, the private red room can accommodate around 30 people.
