I only came to see the museum next door, since I wasn't staying at the hotel. Its large, modern exterior caught my eye and looked beautiful, though I didn't get a chance to go inside.

The hotel looks nice and sits right beside the international airport. The staff were friendly and did their best, the customer service was good, breakfast was good too, and the massage therapists had strong hands. The spa itself is pretty plain, though. The food was awful. I'd skip room service and lunch or dinner there, and go to a local Paraguayan restaurant instead of trying their Western food. My room felt unclean. It reminded me of an old, low-end Marriott that hadn't been updated in decades. There were lots of stains on the carpet, and the room, pillows, and blankets all smelled of old mildew mixed with something like a manufacturing plant.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, though knowing Spanish well makes things easier. Some staff speak only Spanish and Guarani. The hotel is next to the Soccer museum, and the hotel itself is great. My room, number 133, had constant noise that I think came from the air conditioning units right outside.

The rooms are roomy, clean, and have good amenities, and breakfast is generous and tasty. The pool is awesome, as is the gym. It's also well placed and has good business standards, so I thought it was great value. It's a bit far from the city center, though. I'd highly recommend it.

We had fish, pasta, and some vegetables, and it was all amazing. The service was impeccable. The kids enjoyed the live Paraguayan music, with a harp player performing.
