Hilton Garden Inn Asuncion Aviadores del Chaco

Our sixth-floor room was surprisingly quiet, even though it was right by the elevator, and we heard no street noise either. After long flights and days in airports, the pool and saunas were especially refreshing. The jacuzzi, though, was too cold. The room was clean, the bed and furniture were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Water pressure was good, though it took me a bit to figure out the hot shower. There was a little kettle and coffee maker, plus two free bottles of water. Everyone at the restaurant was friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was delicious and the breakfast buffet was great. The front desk staff were just as courteous and helpful. When I needed a late checkout, one gentleman arranged it without charging extra. Thanks to Hilton Garden Inn for a great first stay in Paraguay!

The area felt safe, with two big shopping malls, cafés, and restaurants within walking distance. The airport was about a 15-minute drive, and the centro historical area took 20-30 minutes. I found the room comfortable and the staff friendly, but at this price I expected more from a Hilton. The decor feels dated, and both the pool and gym are very small. The spa and sauna closed earlier than advertised. The restaurant also felt unwelcoming, with odd blue lighting that reminded me of the kind used in bathrooms and train stations to discourage injecting drugs.

The breakfast could use more variety, and parking is limited. Still, the location is handy, just a short walk from Shopping delSol. The staff were very friendly, and they recognized my Hilton Honors Gold status right away, unlike some other chains in the city. The rooms are elegant, the hotel is beautiful and modern, and the restaurant is stylish. One of the better upper- or mid-level choices in Asunción.

The location and parking availability were the only drawbacks, though the staff kindly helped us find a place to park. Everything else was impeccable. The rooms, gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, men's and lady's spa and sauna, and restaurant all felt carefully arranged for comfort.
