Hotel del Parque

Breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and courteous. It’s a simple hotel with very good value and a central location. My room was fairly noisy, maybe just because of where it was, and you can hear the street clearly. Morning rush hour traffic goes right past the hotel. I’d strongly recommend booking directly with them.

The room had a lovely view of the park, and it was clean. The air conditioning and hot water both worked well, and there was a mini fridge. The only issue was a pee trap problem, though closing the bathroom door made it okay. Breakfast had a nice variety, but don’t drink the watery juice. Since everything within walking distance was closed, I ate dinner at the hotel too, and it was tasty. They don’t offer wine by the glass, unfortunately. It’s good value for the price and I’d stay again. Just be aware that it isn’t wheelchair accessible and isn’t a good choice with heavy luggage, since both entrances and the only routes to the elevators have stairs. You get what you pay for.

The people who run the place are great, and all the staff are super.

A nice place to get some rest!
