Las Orquideas Parque Hotel

The grounds were very pretty and the staff friendly, and we enjoyed our stay. We had one two-bed room and one four-bed room, but the latter only had three beds, so one of our kids had to sleep on the floor.

I first stayed here and fell in love with it. I've already come back three times and will keep returning. It's a really nice hotel in a calm, safe neighborhood at the edge of the center. The rooms are clean, nicely equipped, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included in the price and has a good buffet, especially compared with other places in Paraguay. Best hotel in CDE for this price.

The rooms aren't luxurious, but they're clean and good, with air conditioning, and the service is very good. The garden is beautiful, the decor is lovely, and it's great value for money. I plan to return on my next trip to ciudad del este.

We've stayed in hotels for many years, mostly in Foz do Iguassu, and this has been one of the best for value. Parque las Orquideas is in a large building set away from the craziness Ciudad del Este can have, and it doesn't feel as commercial as most hotels. The friendly staff and cozy, relaxing feel stood out. The garden is well kept, with lovely plants and places to sit. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and breakfast was plentiful and varied, with fried and scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese made to order. I rate it highly and will recommend it to friends.
