I felt right at home during my two quiet nights at Casa de la Y. The rooms are at the back of the house in a peaceful neighborhood, so street noise didn’t disturb my sleep. My room and en suite bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The garden behind the house is a calm spot, usually enjoyed by the little dog Rocky. Breakfast is included, basic but enough. I met three of the family who run the B&B, including the famous Y herself. Jorge was always around if I needed anything and gave me ideas for things to do in Encarnación. Everyone made me feel welcome and looked after. I’d happily recommend it and hope to stay again.

We came for carnival, and the friendly hosts made our stay easy and enjoyable. The rooms were large and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and we liked spending time in the lovely garden. There’s even an above-ground pool for relaxing. It’s a quaint area, with the beach about a 20-minute walk away.

Jorge and his family made us feel very welcome at Casa de la Y. They were lovely to stay with, always ready for questions or a chat. My room was spacious and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. I loved my time there and highly recommend it.

The dorms are clean and roomy, and each has its own bathroom. It’s a beautiful hostel in a great spot, just 10 minutes from the Costanera. I’d happily come back.

Our clothes came back clean and dry after we gave them to Donã Yolanda in the morning. Her laundry service costs 10,000 guaranis per load. The room was big and clean too. Big thumbs up!
