La Villa Inn

We were welcomed warmly when we arrived for my business trip to Qatar, and the staff were very friendly. Check-in was quick, and they walked us to our room within a few minutes. We were in room no. 6, facing the Qatar Market, and the view was nice.

The housekeeping staff were kind and good, but there were cockroaches crawling everywhere. The receptionist was hard to approach and didn't know basic etiquette. Check-in took 30 minutes. Such a bad experience.

Everything was a mess in this apartment. It was dim, the lights were flickering, and there wasn't even a rag in the toilet. None of the sinks in the bathroom, kitchen, or shower drained. The stove had no markings to show the heat level, and the AC wasn't working. The receptionist, Santush, gave us terrible service. Visitors weren't allowed, even on New Year's Eve when we only wanted to have dinner. He said it was fine to get a bad review, and threatened to call the police on us ladies if we insisted. Worst experience. Don't book here.

We booked a king size bed but were given two single beds, and there were cockroaches everywhere. The Indian guy at reception was extremely rude and clearly doesn't understand hospitality. I really don't recommend this hotel, especially because of the staff.
