VIP Hotel

The breakfast was a lovely way to start the day, with a nice range of tasty options. VIP Hotel also made a welcoming first impression, with friendly staff and a charming, inviting feel. My room was comfortable and well kept, a good place to unwind after exploring. It’s close to what you need but still peaceful. I had a cozy, stress-free stay and would come back on my next visit.

OM Krishna’s professionalism and eye for detail made my stay a wonderful experience. The welcoming, approachable staff were ready to help and kept things running smoothly. They clearly take pride in the hotel and in looking after guests. I’d recommend the hotel and want to commend OM Krishna for a great job. All the best, Hassan.

The manager, Mr. Krishna, stepped in when I was in a stressful situation after arriving. I’d left my mobile phone in the airport taxi and asked the front office to call my number so the driver might notice it on the back seat. They seemed unsure what to do and said casually that none of their phones could make international calls. I felt they weren’t very willing to help. Mr. Krishna understood the urgency, let me use his personal phone, told the front office to contact the taxi company, and asked IT to find the vehicle’s number plate details. I reached the driver, who returned my phone within an hour. I’m very grateful for Mr. Krishna’s initiative, professionalism, and empathy, but the front office response was disappointing and well below what I’d expect from a 5 Star Hotel. The room was also in poor condition. There were visible stains in several places, and the shower drain was clogged from the start. I reported it to maintenance and was told it had been fixed, but it hadn’t. On my next shower, the water backed up completely and the bathroom felt like a swimming pool. The shower enclosure leaked too, sending water outside the bathroom and flooding the front of the bath area and the room entrance. The supplied iron leaked and couldn’t be used, so I had to request a replacement. That suggested the room hadn’t been properly checked before I was given it. A couple of hours after arrival, I also noticed the carpet near the refrigerator was wet. My socks got soaked just as I was heading out to a meeting. Photos and videos included here. I won’t be back anytime soon.

I’m a guest, and the hotel has failed to meet its obligations. Management and reception don’t seem to communicate, and what they tell guests is inconsistent. Who’s responsible?
