The location made getting out for a long walk or run easy, with the hotel at the end of The Corniche, a safe, pleasant stretch. It was about a 25-minute drive from the airport, and boats were heading into the bay in the evenings. We had a lovely seaview room, kept to a high standard each day by Gamshal. The beach was a treat, with comfortable beds, chilled water in a cool box, and SPF50 sunscreen available if you ran out. Thanks to Hussien for laying out our towels each morning. At the restaurants, the food was delicious, varied, and plentiful. Both served self-service buffets, with staff on hand to help. Thanks to our breakfast servers Arailym, Sandra, Rayesh, and Kristien, and especially Aymen for adding a little extra to the service. We were warmly and professionally welcomed when we arrived. Since it was Ramadan, some hotel bars and restaurants were closed, but that didn't affect our holiday. It's a lovely hotel for an easy week in the sun, with great food and service. Just remember the dress requirements in the hotel and restaurants, especially covering shoulders and knees to respect local laws.

The breakfast buffet is worth making time for. The Umm Ali was the best I've ever had. I also had a great evening in the elite lounge, where Quayyum, Souraj, and Sous Chef Jones looked after me. There’s an impressive range of fitness facilities, including indoor tennis, squash, Padel, and a large gym. Paresh gave me a fantastic tour of the health club. Service was impeccable throughout, and thanks to Peter, the GM, for leading such a good team, as well as Ghufran at the front desk and Moucine and Anastasia. This is an iconic Doha landmark that feels like a top-tier Luxury Collection hotel and is closely connected to the local community. I can’t wait to return.

Qayyum in the Club Lounge was especially attentive, kind, and professional, and the other lounge staff were wonderful too. At breakfast in Al Hubara restaurant, Melissa looked after us particularly well, along with Arailym, Muskan, Mohammed, and the rest of the team. We had a fantastic eight-night stay. The hotel has a great location, spacious grounds, and a lovely private pool and beach area. No complaints at all. I’d gladly recommend it.

The club lounge was one of the best we’ve experienced. Qayyum was so friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel is beautiful, and the Sheraton staff were welcoming and provided amazing service. Highly recommended ❤️
