The Avenue Hotel

Compared with last year, this year’s Iftaar at Avenue Hotel felt like a step down. Last year the food variety and buffet management were much better. This time, the food was only average for a Ramadan buffet, and several dishes ran out quickly. We had to ask staff multiple times to refill them, which was inconvenient during Iftaar. I hope management looks into it and improves things for the rest of Ramadan.

The breakfast buffet had lots of choice and tasted great, and the location was convenient while still feeling peaceful. My room at The Avenue Hotel Doha was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff were always polite and ready to help with a smile. A lovely mix of comfort, luxury, and good service. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Doha! 🌟✨

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and it is not a five-star experience. We booked three king rooms, but only one actually had a king bed. The reception and rooms smelled of smoke, the floors were damaged and lifting, none of the safes worked, and in two rooms the shower water spread across the whole bathroom, making the marble tiles unsafe. The hotel’s bar had only one cocktail available from a full page of drinks. The pool is on the building’s eighth floor, so getting there means climbing eight floors, and the spa and club weren’t open. The hotel apologised for everything but fixed nothing. They offered half board the day before we left, then offered an upgrade on a future booking, as if I’d want to repeat this experience. I only found out the day before check-in that the hotel did not have a working [unclear in source]. I’d requested a room close to reception because my daughter uses crutches, and that late notice made it impossible to book somewhere else.

I was unsure about booking at first, but HANIA at reception was so kind and professional that she made me feel comfortable enough to go ahead. The room was clean and good, and I had a pleasant stay. Thank you!
