Our Habitas Ras Abrouq

Mariam made a real difference during our stay. She was kind, professional, and genuinely supportive, and went out of her way to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Our Habitas Ras Abrouq is beautiful and quiet, just right for a relaxing break. The whole team was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, and their care for guests came through throughout the visit. It was an unforgettable stay, and I’d happily return soon. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a distinctive, luxurious getaway in Qatar.

The location and views are beautiful, but the stay was deeply disappointing. We paid a lot for a luxury experience, and it didn’t meet that expectation. The pool tiles were coming loose, and the property seemed poorly maintained. That might be easier to accept if the prices reflected it. We had no AC in our villa for two nights. Staff came in during the middle of both nights to work on it. On the second night, the engineer said the room was cold, even though his machine showed 24.8. He then said the machine was broken. The staff didn’t seem to care, and after we left management sent a passive aggressive email thanking us for our “observation” about the villas AC. That strange email is why I decided to write this. The food was awful. We paid extra for all inclusive because even fries with melted cheese and corn cost 175qr on the menu. The mutton dish for two was 690qr, and we managed only a couple of bites because it was inedible. The restaurant staff were very sweet, but that didn’t make up for the food. Being in the middle of nowhere means guests are pretty much stuck eating there. A full day of activities, including the safari, was cancelled because the person running them was “sick”. Guests had paid the full price and shouldn’t have to miss paid amenities. If the resort is selling a luxury stay, it needs to find solutions.

For our 20th wedding anniversary, we had a wonderful time at Our Habitas Ras Abrouq. The Villa gave us plenty of space and privacy, with elegant design details, and we enjoyed the view, sea, and pools. The restaurant offered a great range of healthy, tasty food, and the staff were kind and helpful. Getting there from Doha was convenient. The final stretch follows a private desert trail among beautiful rock formations, with breathtaking scenery. We came for a relaxing break in nature, between sea and desert, and left with a lovely memory. Thanks to the welcoming Ras Abrouq staff. On the way out, we also visited nearby Film city and enjoyed it.

I felt like I was dreaming in this desert oasis by the sea. The property is lovely, and the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and accommodate me. The food and amenities were above and beyond, too. Four days there left me wishing I could stay a month. I highly recommend it and would love to return.
