The food is very good, and it's a really nice restaurant. We go there for dinner, but there's one staff member, I think one of the oldest, who isn't very nice. He rolls his eyes at what we ask for, and we always hope he won't be on duty when we arrive. He acts like everything's fine, but the disgust shows on his face. It's not a pleasant experience when he's working. Everyone else on staff is very nice.

The parking is outside, with no barrier or guard, and I found the hotel's inward-opening exit door particularly concerning. For fire or other emergencies, doors should open outward. I don't recommend this place. The food was poor, and the restaurant seemed far too small for a five-star hotel. I had to struggle to cut a pork chop. Breakfast was poor too: the omelet was inedible, and the bread was the prepackaged kind sold off the shelf. Staff service didn't meet five-star standards. During our stay, a guest said she was extremely ill, kept blowing her nose, and talked on speakerphone about symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea, as well as debts. Staff did nothing. For a moment, it felt more like a bus station than a luxury hotel. The building is large, but the rooms are badly soundproofed. We could hear the TV, electrical outlets, and every noise from neighbors. Even with the heating off, there was a constant buzz in our room. A draft came under the bedroom door despite all the windows being closed. Access is through an outdoor corridor, and room doors only lock with a key. Judging by the repeated banging, this was true of all the rooms. The shower had very low pressure and was modest quality, and we found black hair on the bed, which is unacceptable. The house tries to look elegant, but the paintings, Asian sculptures, crystal chandeliers, and old radios felt crowded and forced together, making the decor heavy and inharmonious. This hotel doesn't deserve a five-star classification. I'd say it's closer to three.

The bed was divine. I slept like a baby on a fluffy cloud. The rooms were amazing, everything seemed quite new, and the hotel was extremely clean. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the amenities were great, including parking and a pool. It was a hidden gem and tremendous value for the price, a true five-star experience.

Our kid had lots of fun in the pool, and we enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and the pretty garden. We had a great stay. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean, and the bed was big and comfortable. Totally recommend.
