Hotel Cantemir

Staff were really helpful, and breakfast was okay with plenty of options. The hotel smells lovely and is very clean, and the rooms are just right for a city break. There’s a tube station down the road and a bus stop too. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. 11 out of 10.

I had a fourth-floor room with a small balcony. The view looked out over a busy city rather than countryside, but that’s part of Bucharest’s charm. The hotel is beautiful, with excellent facilities and a newly refurbished restaurant. The colleagues were all very friendly and helpful, and couldn’t do enough for me. This is definitely my go-to hotel in Bucharest now.

The location was great, about a 15-minute walk to the city centre, and I’d stay here again. The staff were top-notch and helped us with everything, especially the really nice ladies at reception. AC was a must in Bucharest during summer. Breakfast was okay, pretty standard. Parking was free and small, but we got lucky and always found a space. The bed was comfortable, there were enough towels, and the sheets were clean. Some furniture was a bit old, though still functional, and there were a few dirty corners in the room.
