The price was around 300 lei, about 60 euro, which is way too much for a pension with so little to offer. There’s no breakfast, and the small kitchen has a fridge that smells bad. The place looks like a 1990 villa. The owner is really annoying, asking where you’ve been and why you got back late, and he’s obsessed with cleanliness, repeatedly telling you to clean your shoes very well every time you come in.
It’s close to the slopes, and the place is furnished in a mediocre way. The host’s fixation on cleanliness was the main problem, and not in a good way. You’re left stressed because he keeps repeating himself. God forbid you or the kids don’t wipe your feet seven times at the entrance, or leave crumbs after the little ones eat. The kitchen is undersized, though thankfully it wasn’t at full capacity, which would have made things even worse. I don’t recommend it at all.
The owners were very nice and tried to make us feel at home, and the villa is very close to the slopes. Still, I’d give the villa no more than two stars. You can hear everything through the drywall walls, the shower leaks, the beds creak, and the refrigerator has an unhealthy smell. The price is typical for the area, but the quality falls short.
The view is quite lovely, but if you need Wi-Fi, I wouldn’t recommend this place under any circumstances.
It’s acceptable, and there’s a kitchen for anyone who wants to make their own meals.
