It’s lovely for a walk, and in winter the place looks especially beautiful with all the Christmas lights. They also put on fireworks for New Year’s Eve.

The kids’ playground is nice. Apart from that, there isn’t much special about the place.

The young teens on bikes and skateboards are about the only cool thing around, even though they’re damaging the pavements. The place is crowded and really noisy, and it’s falling apart. Every bench is filthy and out in the sun, with homeless people sleeping on them. The fountains used to dance to classical piano music, but they’ve been disabled and now just run as ordinary fountains.

There’s a nice mountain view here, plus grassy spots where you can sit and unwind. It’s a lovely little park with good play areas for children, and it has some bars and restaurants where you can have a drink and relax.
