The apartment was cozy and clean, right by Cismigiu Park and very close to the Old Town. There’s a parking spot directly in front of the entrance, and the host was easy to reach and very accommodating whenever we needed help. We could hear noise from the neighboring apartment, and it woke us in the middle of the night, though we didn’t mind much ☺. There weren’t enough towels, and the mattress could have been a lot more comfortable. One small hospitality touch would have been a bottle of water in the fridge to welcome us. It costs next to nothing and would show the host cares. 15.9.2016 ❤

Stay away. The place was dusty and moldy, with cockroaches, dirty walls and furniture falling apart. Nothing had been cleaned: the toilets weren’t disinfected, and the trash was still there when we arrived. This is a SERIOUS HEALTH CONCERN!!! Checkout was a joke too. We had to hand over the keys in a shady way, at a different address behind some pipes. By all means, stay away!

In January 2026, I found the apartment very clean, tidy and warm. It’s in a really good area, close to central places that get lots of visitors. I was pleasantly surprised to find a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher inside, since I’m always looking for those things. I won’t post pictures because they’re private, but I can assure you this accommodation is worthy of the Cișmigiu area.

The place felt intimate, and the room was far beyond what I expected. It was spotlessly clean, with free Wi-Fi at very good speed. Being close to the center, I expected traffic noise, so the quiet was the biggest surprise. Communication with the owner was very good, and the host was kind and exceptional. Entry was by access code.
