Horoscop

The service was a little slow because only one person was working, but the food was so good that we didn’t mind. We ordered Italian food, and everything tasted amazing. The pizza tasted just like Italian pizza, the black ink pasta was super yummy, and the red sauce seafood pasta was delicious too. We finished with very good tiramisu. It’s a very nice place near the fountains. Great experience, highly recommend, and I wouldn’t mind going every day 😋😋😋🍕🍝🥂☕️

The hotel and restaurant have both been closed for several years.

The food tastes great, with classic dishes that are well made and carefully presented rather than anything extravagant. Prices are decent for what you get, and the staff are very friendly. If you’re open to chatting, it’s easy to get along and have fun with them. Horoscop Restaurant is right in central Bucharest, a short walk from Old Town, and it has clearly stood the test of time. You can see it easily from outside because it takes up a lot of floor space, though the entrances aren’t grand. Inside, it feels like another era. It’s clean and well maintained, but doesn’t seem to have changed in a decade or two. The dining hall layout is odd, and some support beams could be dangerous to anyone taller than a child moving around. If you can get past your first impression of the place’s general look, it’s worth a try.

The staff were really friendly, and the place was clean. Being right in the city center was handy too. Still, after two one-night stays, I expected a bit more. The subway and boulevard noise carries into the hotel, and the breakfast room is very small. For a three-star hotel, it was a decent stay.
