The one good thing is that it’s near the station. Otherwise, I’d avoid it. There were bed bugs, and after the first night my whole body was covered in bites. The room smelled of cigarettes and old furniture, and there was so much noise around.

I’d avoid this hotel. The whole stay left a terrible impression. The sheets were very old and had holes (photo attached), and the room stank of smoke. The bed was old and creaked, and the rooms were noisy enough that you could hear everything going on around them.

I’m from Sri Lanka and had a great time staying at hotel basarab during my vacation in Bucharest. It’s right in the heart of the city, so it was easy to get around and reach the main attractions. The atmosphere was friendly, the staff were great, and everything was very clean. Room prices were reasonable too. I’d personally recommend it and may come back next year. If I do, I’m sure I’ll stay there again ❤️👍

There was a bad smell in the room, and on Friday morning it got very noisy from 7:30, with workers, staff, and guests around. I’d suggest staying here if you need to be near the train station, but otherwise I wouldn’t.
