Hotel Litovoi Central

We booked Room 303 only a day in advance for the location. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the Indian Embassy, where I had an Indian Visa Interview, and it's on the main boulevard of Dacia. From there, you can walk past major buildings and museums and eventually reach the old city, about a 45-minute walk. We stayed just one night on June 13th. The staff were friendly, helpful, and smiley. They accepted our late check-in at 21:00 and late checkout after 19:00 the next day, and booked a cab to the airport for us. They couldn't arrange an airport pickup without advance notice, which seemed fair, though we did get ripped off by a taxi that night. The included breakfast was decent for the hotel price. Room 303 was average but good for the price. The bath and shower were a bit small, and we got two single beds as a couple, which was annoying. We didn't ask to change them since it was only one night. The AC didn't seem to work well, so we slept with the window open. That brought in fresh air, but there was awful noise from road reconstruction outside. We didn't complain about the AC given our short stay. The Wi-Fi was really fast. The hotel suited the reasons we chose it, and I'd stay again if I were visiting Bucharest for the same reasons.

The room was large, and with the windows closed the noise from the busy road was barely noticeable. It took about 25 minutes to walk to the old town. Breakfast had a good variety of things, and Wi-Fi was available throughout the hotel.

I'm giving it two stars because, despite being right in the city center, the building was put up with absolutely no regard for aesthetic principles. I strongly feel that a little consideration should be shown when constructing a building in the center.

The Manager always gives a warm welcome, and the reception staff are friendly. Room service keeps the rooms clean efficiently. Breakfast is filling, and if you have a special requirement, just ask and they're happy to help.
