The kitchen, restaurant, and bar staff were really nice, from the waitresses to the bartenders. I’ve updated my service review because of them. My main issue was the room cleaning, so the three stars may really belong to the rooms. The location is handy if you’re traveling to or from the airport by train, since it’s close to the station. The neighborhood isn’t especially posh, though you can walk about 30 minutes to Bucharest’s more upscale areas.

Getting into town is easy, since the hotel is only 10 meters from a subway station. The rooms are warm, maybe too warm for some people, and breakfast has a good range of tasty choices. I liked the juices too, which isn’t always the case at hotels. Staff were polite. You need a card to use the elevators and enter the room corridors on each floor. The bathroom has dispensers for soap, shampoo/shower gel, and lotion, though the lotion was pretty awful.

The rooms themselves were fine, but the hotel administrator spoiled the stay. There seemed to be parking available, yet they wouldn’t let us park there. We also left at 5 am and asked for breakfast lunch boxes, but he refused to provide them.

The Family Suite was comfortable for two adults and two children, and the breakfast was delicious. We also appreciated the complimentary baby crib. The hotel is right by the metro, and the price felt like very good value. One room had a fixed window, which I didn’t like because I prefer being able to open a window for fresh air.

The hotel has good breakfast and dinner options, and it’s very close to the Metro. The neighborhood felt a little sketchy, but all in all it wasn’t too bad.
