Novos Aparthotel

The host was responsive and helpful when we needed something. There are a few supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and we loved having coffee on the little balcony in the morning, looking out over the boulevard. We booked a two-bedroom apartment through Booking for our family of five, and it was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed. The kitchen came with a Nespresso machine, and there was also a washing machine, iron, and vacuum cleaner. We’d happily recommend it.

The place was easy to get into since all the codes were sent in advance, and it was very quiet. We had a great long weekend in Bucharest.

My family and I have been loyal Booking.com customers for years, as have many of our friends. We’ve trusted the platform to be fair and reliable, so this recent situation left me deeply disappointed. Because of the emergency and war in Israel, we were stranded in Romania and couldn’t get home. We booked accommodation through Booking.com, then less than 24 hours later learned there was an emergency evacuation flight back to Israel. I canceled well ahead of time, before checking in or using the property at all. I explained the circumstances to the host, but he refused to refund us. Being charged for an unused stay during a crisis feels unreasonable and inhumane. I’m asking Booking.com to review what happened and step in. In such an extreme and unpredictable situation, I believe some compassion and flexibility are appropriate, especially since we never used the service. I hope Booking.com will consider a refund or at least credit for future use, in keeping with its values of fairness and responsibility. Thank you for your understanding and help.

The manager was so friendly and helpful, and the location was lovely. Our room was spotless, fully equipped, and had brand-new interiors. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend it, and will definitely visit again.
