It was easy to walk to the main sights because the location is fairly central. But the room arrangement was odd, and there was a strong sewage smell. A ladder had been left in the room, and you had to climb it to reach the window. The bed was right by the door, so you could hear everyone passing, which felt uncomfortable. The entrance gate was locked. There was also a strange person speaking Romanian who seemed to follow us whenever we came and went, and that made us uneasy.

We stayed for five nights and had a good experience. The room was clean and spacious, with a window and a small fridge. The bed was noisy.

We only stayed a few hours to rest after a night flight. The place was cool and quiet, right in the heart of Bucharest, and very affordable. The hosts sent clear directions, so it was easy to find. It was a bit dusty, though, and could have used more cleaning and more hygiene products, like shampoo or shower gel.

The standard room is basic, but it’s very cheap. It was quiet and easy to get a good night’s sleep, so I’d give it three stars. One annoying thing: the room poster said checkout was at 11, but people knocked at 10:30 and told me to get out. I pointed to the sign, and they still said no. Even with that mishap, I’d stay again. The basic room is a nice place to sleep for the night at those prices.
