The Mansion Boutique Hotel

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were kind and welcoming throughout our visit. We stayed in the Provence room, which was cozy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Each room has its own style, and the property is beautifully maintained. Right in the heart of Bucharest’s Old Town, the hotel is just steps from everything, but inside it feels calm and elegant. Mr. Tomas, the resident cat, deserves a special mention. He lounged on the common-area sofa for part of the day, while visiting children happily petted him. He was remarkably patient with all the attention. A lovely, warm place with personality. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The staff made our weekend special, especially Ovidiu and Andrea. I’d planned a surprise for my wife’s 40th birthday, with friends coming to the hotel to surprise her too. Ovidiu and Andrea helped organize it and were incredibly flexible, even when we ran into hiccups, arrived late or needed to leave our bags longer. We hadn’t had a weekend away just for the two of us since having kids six years ago, and The Mansion was exactly the right choice for reconnecting. We stayed in the French suites. The rooms are personalized and feel like part of an experience, rather than generic hotel rooms. They’re exceptionally clean and well stocked, and we enjoyed spending time in the hotel because it has real personality. Breakfast was fast and fantastic, with all you can eat. We usually eat quickly and head out, but we kept lingering until they needed to close and switch over for lunch. We also had several drinks and relaxing sessions in the lobby. I booked the anniversary package online, and Andrea and her team helped set it up as a surprise. The staff is small, so you’ll see the same people often. Be friendly and they’re friendly back, and you can build a nice bond. They shared restaurant tips, called for reservations, arranged a car from the airport and helped coordinate when we couldn’t find the driver. They were just awesome. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You’re right in the heart of the old town, but the street isn’t too hectic. It’s easy to walk to churches and great restaurants, then come back to the relative quiet of the hotel. It’s not silent, but if you choose the Old Town, you know what to expect. For total silence, rent a farmhouse. If you’re considering staying here, just book it. It’s worth it. I can’t recommend the hotel and staff enough. If The Mansion isn’t already on your list, put it there.

For the price, this room is really good. It looks posh and has a huge bed, big bathtub, air conditioning, TV and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. The location is sick, with a restaurant downstairs. The staff speak good English. No complaints.

There’s a great Italian restaurant in the lobby, with tasty food and good service. The Mansion is well kept, with clean, beautiful rooms, and everything is within walking distance. It’s centrally located but quiet. I’d book the hotel’s airport transfer both ways, which makes for an easy, hassle-free trip while visiting Bucharest, Romania 🇷🇴.
