The room was clean and nice, and parking on the street right outside was free. They texted us the gate and door codes and left the keys on the door, so we could go straight to our room whenever we got there. At checkout, they sent someone to collect the money. That was the smoothest check-in and check-out I’ve ever had.

This was one of the cleanest places we stayed during our trip to Romania. It’s about a 3-5 minute walk to the center and close to metro stations. There are some delicious restaurants nearby, including Ciao Niki and Beka's Kitchen. Great price for the quality.

I booked this property for my parents through booking a week ahead. When they arrived to check in on the day, nobody answered the door. They tried the owner’s phone number from the booking, but got no answer there either. After several attempts, they called me. I contacted booking to see what we could do, as my parents had already been waiting at the gate for more than 30 minutes. Booking tried to reach the owner too, then emailed him when they couldn’t get through and asked me to wait another 30 minutes for a response. After all that time was wasted, I had to book somewhere else. I can’t understand how someone can know guests are arriving and still be so disrespectful as to not be there or answer the phone. Keep this in mind if you plan to stay here.

There were some good things: the fridge and kitchenette, which is in a wardrobe, a very comfortable IKEA mattress, a desk, the location and the nice garden across the street called Lokal. They let us check in early, and the place was very clean with self check-in. But the air conditioning was old and weak, and only ventilated instead of cooling. They asked for more than the Booking price, 180RON per day rather than 120RON for a double room for two people. Traffic made it noisy in the morning, and there was a smoking area under our window. No shower gel was provided. The WiFi signal was very weak and stopped working completely on the second day. There was a kitchenette but no cooking utensils.
