From the balconies you can see the Cross on Caraiman Peak, with the mountains all around. The hotel is modern and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s in a charming town at the foot of the mountains, and the hotel restaurant is excellent with reasonable prices. A great spot to relax.

We had a good stay with friends and family. There are three grills and a kitchen available. The mountain view is lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The sound insulation was poor, though, and there’s no restaurant on site. Thanks very much.

The rooms and food are decent, and I’d recommend it for families with children. The administrative staff confirmed that families with kids are the main guests. There’s an outdoor playground, with an indoor play area also planned.

I’m used to sleeping in a tent and don’t need much comfort or service, but this was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I’m not coming back, and I think the complex needs to change a lot before it deserves respect. The room itself was okay, but the sheets weren’t clean and the mirror was broken. In the villa’s kitchen, meant for 20 people, there was just one pan and no strainer, so you’ll have to eat at restaurants. Those are far away, too. The place is isolated enough that you need a car for food, restaurants, or activities, and when the hotel can’t provide activities, you’re left waiting in your room. Staff gave us different rooms from the one we’d been assigned because they said they didn’t have the key, got angry when we asked about hotel activities such as snooker, and didn’t seem to care that guests were unhappy. The table tennis and snooker rooms do exist, but sometimes the keys are with an employee who’s already left at 18:00. Then you’re out of luck and have to find something else to do. The listing says “free WiFi,” and the WiFi box was in our room, but there was no internet. I suspect the hotel may not be paying its bills. The bathroom claims are a blatant lie: it’s shared by three rooms. It’s a strange setup, with a shower that has weak pressure and sometimes no hot water, directly in front of the toilet with a broken flush and no divider at all. To use the toilet, you have to step into the shower first. Booking websites say you can book for free, but after booking you get an email asking for up to 60% of the total cost or your booking will be cancelled. I strongly suggest people stay away because there’s a huge gap between what’s promised and what’s provided.
