The setting around the hotel is peaceful and amazing, and it’s a lovely place for a family stay. We had a good experience overall, and the restaurant serves excellent Romanian food. The staff were rather passive and not very commercial. At check-in, we would have appreciated basic information, like restaurant hours, nearby hiking details, and the different hotel entrances.
I spent 10 days at cabana gura diham after travelling from Tunisia to Romania. It was such a cozy, comfortable escape, with the best location and views I’ve ever seen. I wish I could go back!
I’ve been coming here for years and have always had a good experience. The staff are friendly, and they serve good quality Romanian drinks, including palinca. You can enjoy traditional Romanian food at its finest.
The menu had so many different dishes that choosing was a challenge, and everything we tried was delicious. It’s a great place for a meal in the mountain foothills. The staff felt very classic and middle-aged, but the place looked very clean and they were respectful. Thank you 🙏
A lovely family atmosphere in a beautiful location, with hiking trails easy to reach. A good choice when you want to do a light hike together with the family.
