Our room was good, though the lodge itself is very plain and doesn't have much character. It's in a great spot just below the base lodge and chair lift, with a restaurant and a fun bobsled track nearby. The bathroom was our main complaint. There's no ventilation, it smells musty and moldy, and a shower turns the whole space into a steam room. The shower does have good pressure and warm water. We shared the bathroom with two other rooms on our third floor, and there were four rooms up there. The price is better than most in the area. The owner speaks little English. You get what you pay for.

The location wasn't the best. This year, bears came down every night, and since the place is right beside the forest, they get into the courtyard. There aren't enough bathrooms for the number of people staying here, and the owner was extremely rude. They complained that we spent too much time in the kitchen and bothered other guests, but when we talked to the others, none of them had a problem with us. We spent at most an hour there over the whole day and always left it clean. We had plenty of before and after photos. The owner blamed us just because we hung out there. Don't book this place. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

The location near the ski slope is good, but everything else was bad. It isn't child friendly: the stairs are rickety, the room door has a broken window, and the courtyard pavement is broken too.

The bathroom was separate from the room, out in the lobby, and the noise from the terrace nearby kept me from getting enough sleep. The room doesn't have its own bathroom.
