There are concerts and entertainment every night on top of the usual facilities. It’s an all-inclusive hotel, so you have what you need; the place is large, and the beach is fairly clean. The mood is a bit flat otherwise, and there isn’t much to see nearby.

We simply enjoyed our holiday and felt the money was well spent. The food was fresh and tasty, with seafood, pasta, Romanian dishes, baby food, snacks, and more. There was live music in the evenings with some famous Romanian singers. The pool and beach were clean, there was always a free sunbed, and fresh beach towels came each day. The hotel was clean and modern, and every team we met was lovely and quick: reception let us check in before 16:00 because the room was ready, the cleaning ladies from Romania were awesome, and the restaurant and parking staff were nice, too. We’ll definitely be back!

A clean, comfortable place with lovely facilities for families and kids. I wasn’t especially keen on the artists they chose, and the kids’ shows were way too loud.

We stayed as a family at the beginning of August, booking four rooms: two for 7 nights and two for 10. With all-inclusive, we paid about 10.000 €. I’m not usually a fan of all-inclusive because it creates a lot of waste, but they did try to vary the menu and add new dishes each day. Food was refilled as soon as it ran out, and there was great coffee and plenty to drink. The rooms were nice and very clean, though there wasn’t much space beyond the bed. The cleaning staff were helpful, and the terrace, restaurant, and pool were clean as well. The big problem was the beach. There was a private beach and bar, but a huge construction project was underway, leaving stones instead of sand on the beach and in the water. There were also dangerous, unmarked holes in the water, and my father hurt his leg in one. The pool was packed as a result. The hotel area was surrounded by construction sites, and Cap Aurora holiday village felt desolate. We went to Vama Veche for several days so we could enjoy a normal beach and swim in the sea. I wish the hotel had warned us about the beach beforehand. We managed, but I think the money would have bought us better conditions in other countries. The daily concerts were extremely loud. I don’t think the sound engineers considered how close people sit to the stage.
