Dobrogea Hotel

My room was clean, cozy, and fresh smelling, and the toilet was tidy too. The free WiFi was pretty good. The lights were very dim, fine at night but not enough with the curtains closed. There’s a small TV across from the bed, but I couldn’t find its remote; it only had a USB 2.0 port, with no HDMI or AV if you want to hook up something like Google Chrome. There’s a little non-stop shop at the parking entrance, handy if you want a bite, and the people there are friendly. Taxis are usually waiting out front, which helps if you don’t have a car, but be careful: some drivers may not start the meter and then ask for far too much without giving a receipt. They can take tourists, especially foreigners, for fools. The lot holds maybe 20-25 cars, so in peak summer it can get frustrating. The lobby may smell a bit of cigarettes, despite the no-smoking signs. The three women at reception were okay, though only one was especially friendly, while the other two didn’t even give a welcoming look. Overall, I enjoyed staying here. It’s surprisingly good for a two-star hotel, and it’s really cheap, so don’t let that put you off. I’d recommend it and would come back if I’m in Constanta again.

It suited me and my friends really well. The hotel had a place to party, a romantic restaurant, and rooms where we could chill. It was clean, the staff were nice and spoke languages, and the food was excellent. Great value for a small hotel, thank you!

Way too expensive for what you get. The rooms are old and dirty. Stay far, far away, you’d be better off sleeping on the beach 🏖 🌊😉

Best staff ever! They made me lovely vegetarian food. I’ve never eaten anything so delicious ❤️
