The price felt way too high for what we got. The bathroom was bare-bones, the door wouldn’t shut, and there wasn’t a proper shower. Outside, the pubs and restaurants on the street stayed loud until after 2pm, so sleep was out of the question. I got a lovely apartment in Bucharest for the same money. I wouldn’t return.

We especially appreciated how welcoming the Manea family were. The father and son came by several times to make sure we were all right, and their hospitality made the visit feel special. The rooms were quiet, spacious, clean, and kept in a traditional style with modern comforts, making them a nice place to unwind after a day at the sea. The restaurant was just as good as the hotel. We loved the hearty food and fresh ingredients, particularly the grilled chicken and vegetable soup, and the homemade desserts were a treat too. Hanu Satului Mamaia has a rustic, traditional feel that brought the Romanian countryside to mind as soon as we arrived. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back.

Our rooms were tidy and clean, and the air conditioning made a big difference during the heat wave. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Mamaia Holliday village is also close to the beach, with shops, terraces, cafes, restaurants, Aqua magic water parc, the Telegondola, and an amusement park nearby.

The owners are genuinely kind and quick to help whenever you need something. It’s a well-run family business, and the service was great. I’d happily recommend staying here.
